Give time to yourself

Our lives have become more and more exposed to external stimuli that may be robbing us from precious time with ourselves. These stimuli can include constant exposure to technological devices (BB, cell phone, texting, social media, emails, TV...) which may divert us from time with our family, our friends, and ourselves.
I want to introduce here the concept of "me-time." This came about in a conversation I had with a client of mine who told me how important it was for her to have "me-time" where she could do whatever she wanted or simply enjoy herself. I loved the term and that is why I share it with you. Are you giving yourself "me-time" or are you constantly distracted by external factors"?

Be aware that having time for yourself does not mean you are being selfish or self-centered. It is just paying attention to your needs and validating them.

One of the consequences of being in constant communication or distraction is the lack of quality time to think, reflect, or even plan. We may be losing precious time to be in that inner space that only belongs to us and where we can recharge and get in tune with our thoughts and emotions. Do not allow distractions to invade your privacy....give yourself a time everyday to nourish your spirit and be more in touch with your inner self.

I wish you a beautiful day,
