Today I had the wonderful experience of hearing someone speaking from his heart at the Florida Speakers Association. It was the well known speaker Dr. Joachim De Posada. Although I had known Joachim for several years, this was the first time I heard him as a speaker, and the way he delivers his message makes him unique. He speaks from his heart.
As I reflected on my way back home (It was in Ft. Lauderdale, and I live in Miami) I realized once more the difference one can make in the lives of others by being authentic and loving what one does.
If you are real, it comes across in the things you say and the actions you take. It comes across in the quality of your relationships and the lives you touch. When you are real your words are a reflection of your values, your purpose, and the meaning you find in life. When you are real, you do not need to be weighing your words, because they speak the truth. They come from your heart.
So, just as the exercise we did in my seminar "The Eleven Principles of Transformation™" let go of the mask which covers who you really are and what your feelings are....be real...be authentic and remember that if you want to touch a person's life...speak from your heart!
